Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to build hype for next month's bout.
Former two time world heavyweight champion Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Still, the novice continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making huge paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Difference
As the two fighters met for the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really happening.
